I inherited this bass from a friend who never played it. He has no idea where it came from, no markings, no serial number. Has anybody seen anything similar before?

Ibanez EDC 700

I suspect yours is closer to a 100 or 200, given the bridge...

That is indeed the Ibanez EDC headstock. I'm going to guess it was a prototype as well due to the fact that a lot of those EDC basses have a strat style input jack and yours has a side jack I'm guessing.

I almost bought one of those. Would've if I'd had the money. It was, as the name implies, the most ergonomically comfortable bass (or guitar) I've ever held. Well, for me anyway. It's contours fit my contours perfectly.
