Mystery Oversized Pickup Mounting Ring

I have a pickup ring that is larger than the average humbucker ring. It's length across is just slightly wider. The width is about 1/4" wider than a standard pickup ring. Doesn't anyone have any idea what it might fit?



The crème ring is a standard issue DiMarzio ring.

The old Jackson pickups that used plastic EMG style covers use an oversize ring like that.

Charvel also used the oversized HB mounting surround. I could do with a few of those for two projects.

Trying to find a replacement ring for fellow member Chad95XJ. None of my spares are large enough.

Could it be from one of these? I have no idea what the measurements are here, but I figured it's possible.

I play bass on a 4srting tuned with thicker strings to B E A D instead of E A D G . HAS ANYOBE EVER TRIED THAT?

This is an old Charvel/Jackson Japanese models oversized ring

Just bought one off ebay for my 89 Charvette 2 weeks ago

Perhaps its a DeArmond ring. Before humbuckers were standardized, DeArmond's buckers were 3 inches across, with 3.25 for the screw spacing. center to center.
