Re: N"HR"PD...and it's NOT a Duncan!

Lol awwww come on nao. Would you rather buy a humbuckers set with pretty Orianthi advertising it or a grumpy viking with a face tattoo and a mortally broken nose?

Dimarzio, Duncan and Lace are defining their market strategies based on their endorsees. Dimarzio has pickups voiced for lead guitarists with an emphasis on fluidity and high speed note definition. Duncan has stressed precision, resonance and controlability for fast intricate rhythm players. Lace has aggressively voiced pickups for down tuned power riffers. Different market segments, different genres and different design philosophies.

Which is odd, I'd fall into Lace's category but I've had better luck with Dimarzios.

It's more about balancing the pickup properly with the guitar.
