Chinese store demo's for them (Vitoos pedals) are atrocious, bought them strictly based on their very cool looks, price.. & out of curiosity :)

....but what I can say is:

I really love the Metal lab! It's a very realistic/amp-like, ultra-organic thick, grind-y, big, meaty sounding pedal. Nice and chunky, defined & detailed... yet really musical & not sterile at all (has a tight/loose switchfor more/less attack/resonance) NO noise or fizz...really sounds/feels like another amp gain channel. The lead sounds are awesome, not thin/tinny/fizzy at at all ...like with some pedals. On the whole I'm really impressed with it. I've heard highly regarded metal pedals that sound crappy and cheap compared to this monster. It's not an insanely saturated/over-the-top-gain type pedal, more like amazing for 80's/power/speed metal/shred etc & I personally don't find any need to go past 1:00 o'clock or so with the gain knob.

The Blow Up does'nt quite have the gain I like, but sounds pretty cool for what it is...a nice heavy overdrive. I need to play around with it some more, but I have'nt been able to unplug the Metal Lab yet ..lol.

Re: N(SCC)PD.... (5 of them!)

Make that 6 pedals ...though this one is'nt Chinese (it's Thai :) )

Visa_Distortion_I.jpg

...& it was'nt as cheap either lol, but damn, this is easily the 'sweetest' sounding high gain pedal I've EVER heard at any price. It sounds absolutely unbelievable ....goes all the way from fat bluesy overdriven sweetness to rich, full-blown, 80's metal distortion and beyond.

A friend of mine just got one a couple of days ago & called me over to check it out this evening... my jaw hit the floor when he plugged it in! Jammed with it for over an hour & then had to drag myself away lol. Needless to say I literally raced back home to order one for myself ASAP!

Those pedals are made by children when they're not making counterfeit Disney merchandise.

Or something. :)

Congrats!

Or something. :)

Re: N(SCC)PD.... (5 of them!)

lol, here's betting you did'nt actually listen to any of ^ those clips before sharing..

...all of them actually have their own (pretty unique) flavour and I'd consider the Fuzz Moo ...and especially that last Visa Distortion to be outstanding pedals by any standards. The only thing they have missing is a Made in USA label & $400 price tag..

Re: N(SCC)PD.... (5 of them!)

Just having a laugh, bupy; I have two Chinese-made pedals on my rehearsal pedal board myself. :)

Re: N(SCC)PD.... (5 of them!)

Fair enough...lol. Which ones are you rocking? :D

The truth is, these pedals sound a lot better (for the most part) than the Boss/Digitech pedals I used to to own 15-20 years ago, are true bypass & actually pretty sturdy & well made/finished. When you factor in what they cost....wow!

On a side note, I was playing around some more with the Vitoos Metal Lab and it's a really fun pedal. Obviously Metal Muff-ish but with it's own charm/flavour.

Gets really heavy & thick too....lots of KILLER sounding old-school Swedish death metal was jammed with it last night...best $32 I ever spent in my life :D

Re: N(SCC)PD.... (5 of them!)

The Nxgeneration Visa really sounds good. It sounds like a more expensive pedal than it's $90 price tag.

I've always strayed away from buying things on Ebay from Asia, mostly because I'm leery of sending money that far away. It looks like a lot of them are offering free shipping and have good feedback.

Are most of the switches on these pedals flimsy, or do some of the brands have decent ones?

Yeah, it's the sweetest, warmest. smoothest & just the classiest sounding pedal I've ever heard. Period. I'm sure that won't be the case for everyone, but it is for me. I can't think of any other gain pedal at any price that I think I'd rather have.

Can't resist posting another killer vid here. It's not just the pedal..I wish I had half this dude's talent (lol, quarter would do..) :p

Well, I live in Bangalore, India (ie... Asia) But I've never had a problem at all & I've bought at least 10-12 of them so far...even bought a 15W head & cab straight from a factory in Tianjin, China :D

They've always been totally professional & even pleasant to deal with. I know you hear the rip-off horror stories, but I just have'nt experienced any of that at all personally.

None of mine have given me a problem so far (i've got Moen, Mooer, Biyang, Nux & Vitoos). Some have a harder clicking action & some have a soft feel, but they all work fine. No popping or anything. I really can't complain about the way they're built. They are'nt super heavy but they don't seem brittle or anything either..lol.

I have a Mooer chorus and tape echo on my rehearsal board. I will snap a photo of it later. :)

Awesome. I have a Mooer Analog Delay & Pitch Box myself. Great pedals. Really want to get a Moen 'Holy Choir' analog Chorus..that's next in line for me.
