New super-cheap Chinese pedal(s) day... 5 of them! (Just over $200 for the lot
)
The Moen Fuzz & Nux Drive Core/Time Core are still on the way...but the other two came in yesterday.
First up, for $50 shipped...
Insane rhythm...
Insane lead tone...
Then $32.00 shipped got me...
$48 shipped....
$64 ($32 each) shipped for these two.. (just got in yesterday!)

Chinese store demo's for them (Vitoos pedals) are atrocious, bought them strictly based on their very cool looks, price.. & out of curiosity
....but what I can say is:
I really love the Metal lab! It's a very realistic/amp-like, ultra-organic thick, grind-y, big, meaty sounding pedal. Nice and chunky, defined & detailed... yet really musical & not sterile at all (has a tight/loose switchfor more/less attack/resonance) NO noise or fizz...really sounds/feels like another amp gain channel. The lead sounds are awesome, not thin/tinny/fizzy at at all ...like with some pedals. On the whole I'm really impressed with it. I've heard highly regarded metal pedals that sound crappy and cheap compared to this monster. It's not an insanely saturated/over-the-top-gain type pedal, more like amazing for 80's/power/speed metal/shred etc & I personally don't find any need to go past 1:00 o'clock or so with the gain knob.
The Blow Up does'nt quite have the gain I like, but sounds pretty cool for what it is...a nice heavy overdrive. I need to play around with it some more, but I have'nt been able to unplug the Metal Lab yet ..lol.
