Stopped by a store Wednesday that I had spied a few months ago, just to check it out. They had a used Boss CH-1 Super Chorus for $49. I had been thinking about getting a Chorus for some time now, and had watched clips on youtube. Well, after seeing Eric Johnson and Mike Stern last Friday........I need not say anything more.
I offered $40, he came back with $45....SOLD.
For the price I figured it was a good Chorus to start out with, to give me a better idea of what I like about Choruses and learn how to use them. From there I can decide what (if anything) I would like to be different about it and then get something I like better.
So far I'm having fun. I meant to work on my build yesterday but ended up playing for 5 hours. Have gotten a sound out of it that I like so far. It's cool to run it with an MXR Phase 90 on a slow setting (about 9 o'clock) after it.
