NAD - AC15 Creamback

Wattage

High Voltologist
Had a recent one a little while back and it was nice but missing something. Didn't have the upgraded speaker this has.

Took this on a trade deal, seems pretty sweet. Spring reverb instead of digi which I like.

See how it goes

One of these days, I'm going to open the garage door, run the pedal board out 20' in front of the Spidervalve half stack, plug the guitar into it with the good 25' cord, turn the master volume to 8 and let 'er rip

always felt that way about vox amps. heavy and need to be LOUD to get what i want from them. that said, when you ratchet it up they are lots of fun to play

So far it's pretty good and I think it'll stick around for a while. Not taking my Orange's job away but it's nice to have a combo around besides the Mustang III.

Definitely going to find a nice replacement leather handle though, this plastic handle sucks LOL

Re: NAD - AC15 Creamback

Pulled the tubes to see what was in it. A solid set of EL84 JJ's for PT's and cheapo Chinese for Pre-s. The V1 is the only Pre I was really concerned about so I dropped a JJ I had in there. A touch darker and definitely more complex sounding, smoothed the top end out a bit and a little more action in the upper mids

It's funny I sold a guitar the other day, guy was really into the guitar to begin with but plugged in to the VOX strummed 3 chords and said "I'll take it!". I guess it sounds pretty good LOL

Oh and it loves P-90's
