NAD: Blackstar Artisan 15

went down yesterday, checked it out....the 5 watt setting wasn't working. I was offered $550 as a deal. Came home and thought about it....I was pretty sure after doing some research that it was just a dodgy power tube. So today, I went and picked it up, and bought a matched pair of EL84s. Came home, switched out the power tubes and EUREKA! I was right! So I got a handwired all tube, smoking hot combo for $600.

Now, do I offload it and maybe make a few dollars, or keep it? It sounds amazing!

Keep it! What a great deal. It's very similar to my Cornford Hurricane which I love, probably the most musical amp I've heard. If that amp sounds anything like as good you'd be a fool to sell it. Congrats... where the pics?

still up in the air as of right now whether to keep it.....i could probably get $900 for it and that's a tidy profit.

misterwhizzy, are you accusing me of raping Guitar Center? :D
