Neck to neck comparison w/ my FGN Koa top Odssey axe...

(Same amp/settings/mic/backing track.....everything.)



The FGN has an APS-1 single-coil in the neck vs. The Charvel's SSL-1

The FGN is Ash with a Rosewood fretboard vs, The Charvel which is Alder w/ an Ebony fretboard

And the FGN has a two-point Strat bridge vs. The Charvel's Floyd 1000

I guess those are the differences..

Tone-wise I'd say the Charvel's a bit thicker/hairier while the FGn's a bit clearer/sweeter in the top end...

Both play phenomenally well..​ :bigthumb:
