NAD First tube amp!

[Taz Rules]

My neighbor moved to a condo, and can't play a tube amp at volume there without upsetting the strata council.
Result: I get to pick up his Kustom Defender 50 for a steal!

I am absolutely in love with the cleans on this unit. Ordered a tube screamer and TC Electronics Dark Matter off of eBay specifically to do justice to this amp

I looked at those before
It's hybrid right

The clips I heard were great
Nice grind at volume

That amp was designed by the ex chief designer at Peavey, James Brown. He's credited with the Peavey Classics, 5150, 6505, and maybe the JSX and XXX. He also designed the Badcat Cougar series.
My Cougar 50 has transformers marked Kustom Defender.
