NAD - Home Rig

You can add me to the sucker list because I broke down and got a Marshall 50th Anniversary JMP-1h for my practice rig at home. Also placed an order for a custom shop Marshall 2061CX cabinet set to 70's specs, turned out extremely nice. I couldn't be any happier right now not only because this thing sounds great but I can leave the full rig at my band's rehearsal spot! Here is a photo of the new setup:

It's a nice rainy day so I am off to play some more :D

Yeah... That's a pretty awesome lil' setup. Haters will hate, tekkies will over think... If it sounds good and you love it... Be proud man! I would love to have that!

Re: NAD - Home Rig

Never mind the Marshall.. what's the Cornish pedal peeping out of the photo ???????

That is a Cornish P-1, had to make a few adjustments but it is working very nice with this little home setup. Here's a better photo of the pedal:

Oh man , I recently enquired about a P2 fuzz but the guy wants £500.
Can't justify spending that on one pedal.
Your rig must sound superb.
Any chance of a video demo ??

One of the most important aspects of a head/cab rig is the cab, and you've got a sweet one.

I have to say...if I had that exact setup, I'd spend a few years getting a few Marshall amp heads from that series.
It's the absolute best way to have the collection of Marshall amp tones in a compact medium volume head/cab rig like that.

And one amp I've always lusted after was the 2061x

For both this amp purchase and the Cornish P-1, I just had to bite the bullet and get what I wanted. The cornish pedals are pretty pricey but they sound amazing and are built like a tank. Unfortunately I have no means to shoot a video but I might be able to get some sound clips if I pick up some stuff from the rehearsal space.
