Marshall AVT 150
Just popped up on my facebook feed... Guy lives about 1 mile from me, I went over and played it... It followed me home on the cheap.

Going to break out some cold ones and get to know her a little better

Tube preamp, effects loop, 4 channels, effects built in.... Hmm might be pretty tasty, we'll see.

Nice I would have no problem rocking that. Would also make a great practice room head for places you don't want to leave your high-end gear in.

Well with my pedal board through the clean channel I am really liking the **** out of her so far!

Played a few hours now.... Dirty looks, Grim Reaper, WASP, def lep, some Crüe, the Flick of the switch album, armored saint, couple​ more..... Playing the bloody Jackson with an X2N.... Really liking the bright, sizzling sound of the amp so far.

Reminds me of some old days sounds back when I was recording in my dorm rooms and living life!

Nostalgic old **** here....

The AVT 50 head is bad@$$ if you want Marshall, without price and tube hassle. None of the AVT 2000's sounds bad. That thing is just over-the-top power knobs and doors-dads for me.

Wasn't a huge fan of the series from a cramming features perspective (as I said - 50 watt head is pretty lean). But again - not at all bad amps.

Trying to convince band to do Blue Tequila or Put a Spell on You....


If you ever want to start a "Metal" metal band - move to Tampa! We'll call it Hybrid Marshall Theory....Armored Saint, Black and Blue, Dirty Looks, Grim Reaper, Helloween, Helix, Loudness, Teeze, WASP, you know, the classics....
