Special thanks to Gearjoneser for the great suggestion!


I put out an add in the local CL for a trade for my Classic 30. Took a little while but I got what I think will suit my every need.

I've got to find a manual. This thing sounds amazing. Truly, what a fantastic amp.

the other guitar player in one of my bands plays a rivera and it sounds great. enjoy!

If you got that straight up for a Classic 30, you truly scored. Even if some cash changed hands, you got an awesome amp.

I think he is saying he bought the Rivera and NOW is going to have to list the 30. Correct??

I traded the C30 plus a pedal for it. The Great Destroyer by Dwarfcraft to be precise.

Update: Got it home and got to stretch it out a little bit.

Nice bright cleans. The reverb tank is pretty small but still sounds very nice. Very decent gain. I'm still fiddling with it. Tons of tonal options on this beast.

Came stock with the EVM 12l !!

Congrats! Never heard a bad Rivera–great amp there and hope you get a ton of use out of it!

arent you funny, but thats the wrong manual. thats the manual for the amp my friend has the 100 duo twelve.

i think this is the right one with the slavemaster controls

(FWIW, the "maybe?" I added because I wasn't sure if the M100 duo would be the same manual, but I did see links for the M60 with the SlaveMaster controls...)

I saw a few but am leery about grabbing files off of random sites. I contacted Rivera and they sent me the manual. Very promptly too!

Great amps, built incredibly solid and sound great. Great company too, as it sounds like you just found out.

WERD!!!

Having gigged both a Rivera Quianna and a Peavey Classic 50 Tweed in a former life, I heartily agree. I'd take any Rivera over any Peavey Classic all day, every day.
