Also let me add I would lol to eventually figure out what the speakers in it are, it is loaded from the front from what I can tell because all the screws are on the grate and there aren't any on the back, any helpful tips for easily finding out what the speakers in it are without much hassle?

Unless you know a "cab-whisperer" you pretty much have to unscrew and looky-lou that bug-a-boo.
Behringer stuff is good, but I always get the feeling that it shouldn't be, for whatever reason...

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

A friend of mine bought one of those new and it had Jensen reissue speakers from the factory. I can't remember which one, though.

Kinda makes me wonder why the original owner changed out the speakers, since my friend's Behringer sounds pretty good.

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

Some of those behringer 412 cabs (I think the "surround" model, where the cab was slanted, but the baffle aimed each speaker in a slightly different direction, all outwards obviously) came with Jenesen C12R's, if I remember right. They actually don't sound all that bad. Bit trebly but those Jensen speakers also pack a nice growly wallop in the mids.

Definitely better than the behringer speakers that came in the regular straight/slanted 412s.

edit: nope. not C12R's. C12K's.

It's a normal slant cab but it has upgraded speakers im just not sure where to open it up to find it because it looks like it's all screwed in on the front so it wouldn't easily open like one where I could pop off the back

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

pop the grill off, pop the baffle off, be careful when removing the baffle because the wiring is probably not very long, and yanking the baffle out really far could rip out the solder joints, damage the jacks or worse, damage the speaker's solder lugs.

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

Take either the back off, or the grill and a speaker. The baffle might not come off that easily

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

The back doesn't have screws.. It appears to be a separate piece of wood but I don't know how to go about taking it off, the grill appears to come off easily but I'm afraid if I take out a speaker I will (a) disconnect it and not be able to reconnect it, or (b) not being able to place it correctly, also there's always (c) that being having no problem but some reason it sounding like crap after reassembled

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

just don`t be a caveman about it, you`ll be fine.

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

Played one gig with them as they were part of a festival's backline. Had very low expectations, but didn't sound half bad to be honest. Certainly a heck of lot better than the cheaper Marshall cabs.

Re: Nad.. Well kinda (cab not amp)

I also forgot to mention I have to fix the casters on it, the person who installed them only screwed in 2 screws for a few of them but instead of having them diagonal he had them both on the same side..
