NAD

Picked this up at a pawn shop for less than two bills. Everything works, though the top of one knob is missing. 60 watts per channel, two channels and 99 effects. Two Jensen 100 watt speakers that are very clear. 100_5111.jpg

Sweet amp. Behringer stuff is very underrated. For what it is they deliver a solid tone. I absolutely love my Behringer keyboard amp with my acoustic guitar going through it. Is it setup stereo like a Roland JC 120 or is it setup more like a Cyber Twin?

Re: NAD

Behringers are extremely under rated.
It's almost like they took a rack mount effects unit and built a serious ss amp around it. With two 100 watt Jensens driven by 60 watts per channel, stereo, to broadcast it. For the money, this thing is a steal. I've been playing around with it using my TT-Mayhem as the dirt pedal and oh man! Chorused delay on the clean channel gives me perfect 80's Judas Priest. And it can get LOUD without loosing clarity. When I saw the Jensens, that was my first clue that this might be a decent low dollar amp. I have never been so impressed with the response of a stock set of speakers.
The thing also gets a very decent clean sound, I could see doing a country or jazz gig with this thing easy. If you want blues, use the overdrive channel. Or a pedal through the clean side.

Re: NAD

So it is stereo. That's cool. It looks to be the bastard child of a Twin and a JC120. Good luck with it.

Re: NAD

I used to hate Behringer stuff until I got my Bugera 1960 Infinium. This amp seriously knocks my socks off.

Admittedly, a lot of my hatred was due to working at GC back in '01-'02. Almost every Behringer product I sold got returned. When I tested it to validate the return most of it just refused to work.

Wow! I honestly didn't know Behringer made the Bugera stuff until you mentioned this and I looked into it. I'm a fan of Bugera. I had one of the first Bugera cabs that I really liked and it's quite possible my next tube amp may be a Bugera. Odd, because most of the "Behringer" branded stuff I've used has been very lackluster quality-wise...go figure.

Re: NAD

A guy on the inside tells me these sound better than Plexi's. Let's hear some sound bytes!
