Positioning has lead to a darker tone than I like, I'll try centering it more on the speaker.

Definitely too dark... what's the mix like on the VTB? I keep it at 100% SS, but the tube setting might work better for ribbon mic's.

Try blending it with the 421 and 57 or i5! That should sound amazing.
