NAGD - Michael Kelly 3D Grand Auditorium

Got my acoustic back today after getting it set up. It's a Michael Kelly 3D Grand Auditorium I bought used a few weeks ago. The previous owner put the forearm rest on it. It has an aged (torrified) solid spruce top, Java Ebony/Mahogany blend back and sides, mahogany neck, Grover tuners and a Fishman pickup system. It sounds amazing and now plays as good as it sounds.

Very nice! Congrats!! Never played a MK accoustic, but I have a Patriot Custom and had a couple other electrics and they are very nice guitars. My Custom is great.

Sweet. Love that back. Do you find the forearm rest to be usable and beneficial? Wondered about those. I'd like to add an MK to my stable.

The arm rest makes it slightly more comfortable to play instead of the sharper edge, but I could do without it. If it weren't for having to remove the double sided tape from the top of the guitar I'd take it off. I'm afraid it'll be a mess to try to remove it all and not worth the hassle. Love the guitar tho. Very rich, warm tone when played soft and opens up more when strummed a little harder. I don't know about all this mumbo jumbo about the aged top...All I know is it sounds great to me.

Played a Michael Kelly acoustic in a local shop last week and was very surprised and impressed with it. Nice guitar congrats!

This is my second MK acoustic and both are great. Played this new one for a while again last night after work and I'm really liking it. My guitar tech got the action down great and it has such a rich, warm tone. Makes me wish I had another.
