Nazgul Rails?

Hey friends - so, needing that CHUNK CHUNK palm mute tone in my B standard band, Bleak Barrow. I currently have a Schecter C-1 platinum with a JB in it, thru an EVH Iconic with a Horizon Devices Precision Drive boost - the JB is great, but lacks the CHOG CHOG grindy, snarling palm mute I desperately need. I have an Invader in another Schecter, but its not as "rattly" as I need - SO! The Nazgul Rails? is it my answer? Huge Dimebag fan, and always relate his insane palm muting chug for reference- are Rail pickups what I should aim for to achieve this? I am highly considering the Nazgul Rails - any tips help! Cheers everybody

Can't speak to the Rails version, but the original Nazgul does the chugga-chug as well as any pickup. There's also the Dimebucker if you really want to lean into the stop-start Pantera sound.

Agreed, even the regular Nazgul would deliver what you're looking for, but I bet the "rails" version is killer!

Interesting to see that the Nazgul Rail uses an Alnico 8 magnet, compared to the ceramic on the standard version. EQ looks to be the same, resistance a tad higher.

Maybe that's what they needed to get the Rails to sound like their non-Railed counterparts.
