NBD; 60 bucks!

Could not find anything about this new bass- one post all over the internet. Also one post on a BC rixch info. site. They bought helped a lot, but I can't yet date the bass exactly.
Looks like a Made in Korea 1980's-90's BC Rich Import "Innovater" bass. Picked it up at my favorite pawn shop in San Antonio the other day for 60 cash.
Frets do have some indents, but lots of meat left, so a "setup/ fret level would do it.
It had a Bass II bridge, which I'll sell to pay for the bass.
I have no interest in this bass, beyond the fact it impelled me to study the history BC rich Guitars..fascinating.Whose the guy here who has all those amazing hand made USA Richs'?

So I'll sell the BadassII bridge to break even on the guitar, put a new set of tuners, and a cheaper but good steel black bridge, and put that up for a buck fifty or trade a pedal.

Check out the "diamondhead snake " ,as I call it, headstock! Compared to most cheap Chinese crap,and all Indonesean junk, these were golden!;

Nice, for $60 bucks not bad at all, sell the bridge and I would pay it foward to someone you might know who doesn't have the money for a bass and just give it to him. It might change his life, and make you feel good it the process. Just saying

Re: NBD; 60 bucks!

The Badass bridge alone makes the bass at least a break even proposition. Sell that, then put a cheapo bridge on the bass, and either sell it for what you paid for it or keep it for a beater/loaner.

Re: NBD; 60 bucks!

I associate that headstock with SJB Bass Collection instruments. Tanglewood, Westfield, Wesley or somebody similar made copies. The VVT control layout is unusual. The typical array would be Vol., Balance, High EQ, Low EQ.

Re: NBD; 60 bucks!

It reminds me a combination of an Ibanez and an Aria Pro II.
The body looks like an Ibanez Soundgear, but the headstock looks like a more rounded Aria II. Considering how many of those lines are from the same factories and use the same parts that shouldn't be surprising.

Re: NBD; 60 bucks!

That headstock looks a lot like ones on the Tune brand of basses. I haven't seen those around in a long time--probably because I only shop online these days :/

EDIT: Found a pic online!
