Tone Pros TP6R-N Nashville Tuneomatic roller bridge:

I actually bought this in April, but installed it earlier today.

The Bigsby on my 335 stays in tune great, but the one on my SG has been nothing but a headache since the day I installed it. If I so much as touched the bar, it settled 20 cents sharp. Properly re-tune everything, touch the bar, 20 cents sharp. It has Gotoh locking Klusons and a TUSQ-XL nut that I confirmed wasn't binding, but that wasn't enough. After tons of research I came across this bridge; it doesn't have strange post holes like the GFS, and it doesn't have weird saddles and a 14" radius like the Schaller. The best part is that it works. Even though I haven't fully stretched the strings, the tuning with this bridge is solid.

Re: NBD (New Bridge Day)

Could you provide a link for that
I want a roller bridge for my Gibson but the only ones I can find have the big
Epiphone post holes

Re: NBD (New Bridge Day)

Do you notice any tone loss from the rollers? I've never used one.

I don't think so, but I haven't played it through an amp enough to know for sure. Acoustically it may be a bit brighter than before, but that could also be the new strings. I'll follow up in a few weeks when I've had some more time with it.

I wondered the same thing. The concept of a roller TOM bridge seems like a no-brainer, but my luthier friend thinks it's a tone sucker. I've never tried one myself.

Re: NBD (New Bridge Day)

I have one on my Florentine since the first of the year

It was the standard epiphone bridge until then
I haven't noticed any massive difference
