AUDIO-TECHNICA MBK2 Dynamic Instrument mic...

I'd used one of these to record my bands guitar tracks for our new CD at home last year...it did an excellent job.

So I just pulled the trigger on one of my own....very happy with how accurately it picks up the sound from my cab....really makes it sound the way I'm used to hearing it when I play out in front. Dead quiet/no hiss like my crappy chinese SM 57 clone /meaty full-sounding mids/sweet & warm with great overall clarity/nice & tight...it's an excellent mic for recording cabs. Looks pretty cool too Mine cost about $85 ..but they're cheaper in the US (about $50 I think...)

Looks nice, congrats! I've not used a dynamic mic to record guitar in ages! (That will change on my next album, though)
