Would this work? I think it would. I have no ideas for values but here's the components and what not.

Re: Neat little circuit

Thats a nice effort for someone who's trying to learn, but you have several problems. Only the first transistor is biased properly. You need "base" biasing for every transistor in the circuit. Especially that final transistor output.

Also, why are you fading between two (apparently) identical diode pairs. At the least, you should make one of those pairs LED's or something.

You have a lot of reading and work to go, but its a very nice effort. I admire you for trying. Do some more research and reading. ;)

Edit: Just to be clear - your circuit isn't conventional. Thats not to say that current won't flow through it. Perhaps, what you get out the end is exactly what you wanted. (But its going to sound awful.) ;)

1) What is "base" biasing?

2) I forgot to lable them as different. Just take out a set of diodes and that pot

3) Thanks

4) I was reading the AMZ Notebook thingy and I found this idea for flipped PNP transistors and they said it would be kind of a weird sound, I thought I'd try it out. I can always unsolder them and switch those two around, right?

Re: Neat little circuit

Hi Cream123....WOW ....good thing ArtieToo can help you here ! You lost me just after leaving the input jack.

You might have fun with some of the FREE schematics drawing programs that can be downloaded. Not a criticism of your drawing, just thought you would enjoy trying one.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

Thanks
