Neck and Middle for a HSS Strat

Hello all - you really helped me change out my bridge pickup, so I'm coming back for help on the neck and middle. I have a 2012 fender american strat that I put a JB in the bridge (a TB-4 to be exact). I added a blend knob and split for the bridge. I also put the liberator in, which made someone like me with poor soldering skills very confident in pickup changes.
Anyway, I love the bridge sound. Unfortunately, the stock pickups (I believe they're fat 50s) aren't doing it for me. I want classic neck and neck/middle sounds for clean rhythm and bluesy leads. Right now the guitar feels unbalanced and muddy when I have the JB tuned the way I want...I was leading towards putting a Vintage Hot Stack Plus STK-S7 in both the neck and middle, but I'm open to suggestions...

And I guess the most important thing...this is my gigging guitar, playing mostly 90s rock...

Thank in advance

If you ever go towards the STK-7, let me know how that turns out. I'm interested in the JB/double STKS7 combo myself.

I used to pair a Duncan Custom TB-5 with a Hot Rail SHR-1. Really good match!

like wise i'm on the lookout for single-coils sized pickup that would preferably be between the 59 and jazz models. lot of bros here recommended Lil Screamin’ Demon SLSD-1
