Neck Duckbucker wiring advice please

I have just got hold of a Duckbucker that I would like to try out in the neck slot of my Strat, there is some weird no name mini humbucker in there at present. The other pups are standard reverse polarity Fender pup in the middle and a Seymour Duncan SH3 full size bucker in the bridge which is wired to a mini coil tap switch. This works well as in the coil tap position the bridge and middle are noise cancelling in position four.
What is the simplest way to wire in the neck Duckbucker ?. I would like it to be noise cancelling in position 2 with the middle pickup if possible. My soldering sucks so I would like an easy option if possible. I think I have to reverse the green and black because of the Fender middle pickup so the black and bare go to ground. Looking at the web diagrams I think the green should go to the second top lug from the left on the five way and the red and white should either be taped up or both go to the first bottom lug of the 5 way from the left as you look at the diagram. Does that make sense?, advice welcome!.

Re: Neck Duckbucker wiring advice please

Follow the supplied SD wiring instructions, if the phase relationship with the centre pickup is wrong, reverse the output and ground conductors of the Duckbucker.

NOTE: The combination of the dual coil DB with a single coil centre pickup will result in less than perfect hum-cancellation.

+1

If the fender singlecoil in the middle position is already in phase with the SD humbucker it may well have its leads reversed already.

Good point, am going to pull the hood tomorrow and check it out, would like to know what the weird ugly pup in the neck slot now is too.
