neck humbucker for Telecaster

I'm wanting to install a humbucker for my neck pickup in my telecaster. I'm thinking of using a mini humbucker similar to what's used in the Gibson deluxes. I would appreciate any feedback on what sounds good and what doesn't. many thanks, Brian

i think a firebird or lp dlx style mini hum is a great option for a neck pup in a tele. i remember when a mini hum in the neck, strat single coil in the middle and tele or broadcaster bridge pup was the cool setup for country. im not a country player at all but that was still a killer setup.

hard to go wrong with an antiquity but the sm1 is a great option as well
