Re: Neck pickup go go with Mo Joe in bridge
My reasoning based on my experience with Dimarzios in Ibanez RG's:
You said no mushy bottom end. The PAF Pro in the NECK has a mushy bottom end in a basswood RG.
You said articulate and cutting sound, that perfectly describes the Humbucker from Hell.
The Paf Joe is not as cutting and articulate as the humbucker from hell. It is warmer and more rounded.
I personally don't think the Humbucker from Hell is too bright. It is articulate and cutting, and does not sound like a very round Air Norton type pickup.
The Mo Joe is not a tremendously hot bridge pickup, so more powerful neck pickups like the Evolution neck might somewhat overpower the Mo Joe.
The 36th Anniversary is also a great neck pickup. It has a bigger bottom end than the Paf Joe and HFH, and is not quite as cutting and present as the Humbucker From Hell, but it can still shred while also being great for clean tones.
The Mo Joe has sort of a balanced and sterile quality to it, which I think matches well with the Humbucker from Hell. If you want contrast by having a warmer rounder neck, the PAF Joe or 36th would work well while balancing well with the Mo Joe's output.
