Neck pickup to go with Cool Rails bridge in a Strat

Newbie to posting here, not new to gleaning great information. I was hoping for some collective wisdom.

I have a standard Strat that I've switched a number of pickups in and out over the years. I had a Lace Sensor Red in the bridge which I never really liked and was very hot. I took it to the shop and told them that I still wanted a HB style in single coil size and they recommended a Cool Rails in the bridge. I was a little skeptical but it is actually pretty good and versatile for the cover band Dad rock stuff I use that guitar for. Now I'm in the position of wanting a better neck pickup for truly Strat-y sounds to replace the Lace Sensor Light Blue that is fine but not really doing it for me anymore.

Needs to be noiseless so I've been looking at stacked pups like the Classic Strat Plus. Lots of the forums seem to lean toward Dimarzio Areas for this kind of thing and I'm open to that but have had better luck with SD overall. I do have a tele with a Chopper Bridge and Nocaster neck which I love - will never switch those out but it does have a specific sound. I'm trying to get this guitar to complement the tele to give me a good range. Heaviest stuff we're doing is in the 70's and 80's hard rock vein.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

The Classic Stack Plus is the right one. It is a fantastic real Strat -sounding pickup with no noise. It should sound great in there.

Great. Will be ordering after payday this Friday. Now to decide whether to solder myself or have it done.

i agree, the cs+ neck model is a great option. its as good as anything ive found for a noiseless pup that sounds like a classic a5 strat pup

going slow, especially in the beginning is a good idea. its not that hard to learn to do it well, but it does take time and patience
