Neck PUP for a 52 RI Tele.

Hey guys... I just put a Jerry D bridge PUP in a MIJ 52 RI and had planned on pairing it with a Vintage 54 neck PUP. Turns out the PUP I thought was a vintage 54 was a Quarter pounder. I am looking to replace the stock neck PUP with something that will match up well with the JD. The JD is really nice so any input would be appriciated. i think the vintage 54 is a good choice and will match up fine. the qp might be a little too much and overpower the jd

I use a Duncan Antiquity Strat pickup for the neck pickup in my Tele with the JD. Can you fit one of those in there? If not, and you don't mind spending a few bucks on maybe the best Tele neck pickup available, the "Tele ala Strat" Tele neck pickup MJ wound for me is pretty awesome! It's a Duncan Custom Shop Pickup. I'd think the Vintage Rythym would work just fine too. The Fralin Blues Special is another awesome neck pickup but it's not humcancelling when combined with the JD.
