Neck recommendation for Kurt Cobain Mustang

Hi, I have a KC Mustang epithet a JB in the bridge and love the humbucker. However, I am not loving the neck so much. I have been looking at some of the stack pickups as they don't have any hum. I have used the Classic Stack Plus on a HSS strat along with a JB in the bridge and that worked really well. However, I don't want the neck of the mustang to sound like the neck of my strat.

I was also considering the STK-6 but I'm a bit concerned that it will be too dark. I find mustang's neck to be a tad darker than strat necks.

Anybody has any good suggestions?

Get a stack plus but get the bridge version. It's wound a little hotter so it'll have a fatter tone than the typical stack plus and the pickup slot is tilted so it should be spaced correctly and everything.

I'm confused. Are you looking for a pickup, or a neck...or both?

I am looking for a neck pickup that has no hum.

What do you guys think about the Dimarzio Areas? I have read from a few members that they are as good or better than the Duncan Stacks.
