Need a pup to go with a '78

I scored a warmoth lp body on eBay. It's korina/maple with a Floyd rout. I got a 78 that's going in the bridge. The neck slot is routed for a single soooo....
I would like a scooped neck tone in a sc sized pup. I've heard the 59 is scooped but can be too bassy, and I definitely don't like bassy/muddy neck sounds. Am I describing a lil screaming demon?

the little '59 isn't quite as scooped as the full size version. less boomy too. but it's still pretty fat and warm sounding. Definitely worth a shot if you want something milder sounding for the neck.

The Lil Screamin' Demon Neck is a perfect choice for pairing with a '78 in the bridge. Great choice!

I'm with CTN. I avoided the little '59n for a long time out of concern that it would sound like the full hum '59n. and that's just not the case. a little more open and clear-sounding than the Cool Rails, by comparison.

there is also the Little Pearly Gates or PG Jr or whatever they are calling it that might pair up well with the '78.
