I had a JB installed in the bridge of my Strat and it sounds fine except for one problem. When I`m hitting chords or doing any kind of palm mute on the low E string it sounds as if the string is being scraped , a scraping mettalic like sound. I thought it might have been my palm mute style or picks I`m using but this is the only guitar/pickup combo that I`ve ever expeirenecd this problem and I`ve used the JB before in another Strat and it didn`t have the scrapeing type sound on the low E. The strings on the guitar are new D`addarios but I didn`t think the strings would cause it as I`ve been using D`addarios for a while. No problems with a the A thru high E string , Please help!
