Need Advice to Refit MIM Strat/Alder/HSS

I like very versatile equipment. I have an HSH walnut body Carvin and I miss the pop of a Strat. I listened to the Tone Wizard and compared tones side by side but want outside advice before I proceed.

Bridge - I don't like medium or light output twang. I want a full sized humbucker that gives me the ability to go chunky but well defined power cords and full screaming sustain for stadium style rock anthem leads. My first choice was Dimebucker. Am I missing anything?

Mid & Neck - I want to get single coil tone but without hum. I also want the warm pop and quack that makes a Strat a Strat. Again, prefer no light weight twang, but good, full, warm, quack. I liked the Duckbucker but it sounded too thin in the mid position so I was considering it for the neck. I liked the tone of the APS1 Alnico single coil and was considering that for the middle position. Any comments or suggestions?

I use a Fender Cybertwin and get model different amps so I have some flexibility there, but I always want to start with good tone from the source in case I go with with my clean/gain two channel Crate Vintage tube amp as well.

I realize that tone preferences are subjective, but I hope you can get a feel for what I am going for and confirm my selections or give me any other suggestions before I commit. Thanks. : private:

I am not really a single coil expert, so I will leave that to others. For the bridge, the PATB series of pickups are INCREDIBLE. They make a PAF output version, a medium output version and a distortion version.

I really like the Original PATB, which is the medium output. Great clarity but it sings no matter how much gain you throw at it; to me it's amazing. The look is a little unorthodox, but it's the tone we're after....right?

They make a stacked version of it in single coil size for the mid and neck positions......no hum but it's not exactly a quacky strat tone either. I have a hum/sing/sing that I have the PATB/Alnico Pro single/PATB stack in and it is a rock machine. The single in the middle still does some decent strat tones.

Like I said, there are guys here who have a lot more knowledge than I do about single coils, but don't overlook the PATB just because of the way it looks.
