Need an advice on Peavey AMP ?

Hey fellow rockers,
I need some kind of feedback if possible ont this AMP Head. My friend was selling this Peavey amp below and i tried looking up it's reviews and information and i couldn't find anything related to it, so i was just wondering if someone here has any idea if this AMP Head is worth buying or not ?

By the ways, it's 300 watt AMP Head, not 800... !

Doesn't the BASS one says BASS in place of Musician on the side of the AMP ?

If you have a good bass cab to plug it into ? Yes. Some of the late 70's early 80's Peavey bass amps where considered top notch bass rigs during that time.
If you can get it for just over $100. I'd say it's a score!

So is it a bass amp ?
Cuz i thought it was Just Guitar Amp head, and not a bass one, but i guess since two people saw it as bass, it must be Bass then, lol !

The seller never mention that? But Trust me... A 300w transistor amp will sound like arse with a guitar.:no:

Okay, point noted, thanks bud... Do you know any other good Peavey AMP that you would rather recommend in place of this, and something for reasonable price ?

I would recommend the peavey bandit 112. Its 100w solid state. See if you can score one on ebay for less than 200. They're solid state amps, but have good cleans and pretty good dirty (Satriani style) .


If you wanna go tube however thats a different story. I would recommend the Peavey Classic 30 or the peavey classic 50 in that case. Those are Fender Deville level amps, but better. They would be more in the 400-500 dollar category used.

Or maybe a used fender blues junior (what I have. But i have the limited edition Jensen speaker one).
