Need female to female 1/4" coupler... Stereo or Mono?

As the title says I need a female to female 1/4" coupler to put between my combo speaker and my unleash. From what I gather all I need is a mono one and while a stereo one would work it would be unnecessary for what I'm using it for. Or is there something else I need to know?

Any specifics to how the metal ones are better? And why mono over stereo? Just wondering. Input... more input.... ~Johnny 5 (Short Circuit). lol

It's because the hosa crap is terrible, and you don't need stereo because 1 speaker, one guitar amp - THAT's MONO. Stereo is dual mono simulaneously. Clearly you don't have a stereo amp, nor Unleash.

And, I'm curious why you even need a coupler for that Unleash. You shouldn't need one to hook it up, unless you're just trying to make an extension. Does the speaker cable not reach the unleash sitting on top of your amp?

Since this is for speaker cables I would be very careful to get really good quality. And female-female couplers are usually crap even for signal level.

Why exactly is this required for this cabinet?

ETA: didn't see one of them is Neutrik. That should do it.

Whats with the snobby/arrogant attitude? Theres no need for it. I need the coupler to connect the speakon 1/4" from the Unleash) to the combo speaker 1/4". Last time I checked you can't connect two 1/4" plugs together without an adapter..... :smack:

The coupler is needed to join the speakon 1/4" from the Unleash to the combo speaker 1/4".

I've had both for many years and never had any problems with either. Having said that, I've had the metal one for over 40 years with no problems. Doesn't matter a bit whether it's mono or stereo, they both work fine.

If this is going to be rather "permanent"...I would be tempted to either make, or buy a cable that had;
One male connector
One female connector.

btw...get the adapter also...they CAN be very handy
