Need help with a 1984 Contemorary Squier Strat

Hey guys, I could use some help. I have an '84 Squier Contemporary Strat. 2 humbuckers. I put in a JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck. It is a tone machine! I have been having trouble with the output jack. It is on the side and is different than a tele. I need to replace or repair it. It cuts out while I am playing, so I can't play it live right now. I pulled it out and can't access the inside to bend the contacts. I used a small screw driver down the hole to bend them and that worked for a week. I can't quite get hold of it. Does anyone know where to get a replacement or how to open one up (if possible)? Thanks.

Replace it. Those aren't really a fixable item and new jacks are cheap.

There's a back plate, no? Can't you take the back plate off and get to it from the control cavity?

I am all for replacing it. I just could not find anything online for a replacement. So, Ibanez style "barrel jacks"? My problems are over. Ordering one today. Thanks! You guys are the best!
