Need help with choosing a good humbucker

I have a Les Paul Classic with the stock hardware in it. I think they are a 500t in the bridge and a 496 or something like that in the neck. I'm running the guitar into a Marshall Valvestate 100H which has a nice warm tone. The bridge pickup is really hot, which I enjoy and the Marshall helps alot with shaping the sound of the guitar, but I'm looking for something that it a little shaper. Something that his hot but at the same time doesn't over do it with the gain. Something with a tighter sound, that bites. I am still fairly unexperienced when it comes to this stuff but I want to start developing a better sound. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I would recommend a Custom 5, it seems to be a favorite among Les Paul owners. If you want to replace the neck pickup down the road, a '59, Pearly Gates, or Alnico II Pro would work well.

i think if you are looking for a hotter pup with a tight bottom end and a nice bite to it, the sh5 custom is a good choice
