Hey guys!
I have an ESP E-II TB-7B "telecaster shape 7 string"
It has a maple neck thru, alder wings and ebony board, it has a thick body and thick neck. I play in drop G and I find the single notes "especially the low G" to sound abit thinner, nasally and shrill and have a lot of upper mid spike compared to my horizon 7 string with the dimarzio D Activators in the bridge. What pickup will give me a more warmer fuller tone for the single notes and not be shrill or spikey and nasally in the mids ?
The guitar itself is a bit nasally in the mids unplugged more so then the strat shape 7 strings I have
So I thought I would try Seymour Duncan pickups so what would you guys suggest?
Cheers
