Need paint ideas.

So while I am impatiently waiting for my body to get back from the custom paint shop. I realized i have enough stuff to put together another guitar. Body is a 80's style charvel HH with a recessed floyd. Its bare wood at the moment and I have a pointy headstock charvel maple neck to put on it.

So I need so ideas for wild and flashy paint jobs that I can rattle can myself. Not looking to spend a ton of money on this one but still want it to look fairly good. So let's hear or see some ideas.

i feel like someone did a silver flake rattle can job that came out good. maybe wattage?

I read "pant ideas" first.

Anyway, some sort of metallic paint would do it as those spread evenly on the surface quite well and you don't have to be crazy skilled for a good result.

You could easily do it with my guidance. The graphic is a tshirt glued on,sealed, glossed

I painted my first guitar about ten times.

My favorite was black body, then I took a piece of expanded metal from my dad's shop and sprayed blue through that.
Easy to do, looks pretty cool.


Gives it a fishnet kind of look.

Or you can get bloody. Easiest ever.

Well I have an assortment of Montana cans paint and I just ordered a can of their glitter effect. So I'll come up with something sparkly. I'll report back once I try some samples with the glitter effect.
