need some constructive criticism

2 songs i recorded with my GF a while ago now. i just dug them up recently and im interested in what you guys think. dont care too much about the typical "awesome" or "that sucks" type of comments. more interested in what you think could be improved technique and structure wise.

basically, i could listen to them a million times and probably like them less every time, but an outside opinion is worth ten times more than some1 who just tells you what you want to hear.

Wow. Both of the songs are amazing. I have to admit, I'm trying to think of constructive criticism but everything is positive.

Are both of you on the guitars? The solo in Stage fright had amazing tone. I really enjoyed the overall character of lonely heart. It had a really 'flittering' feeling to it. Dainty, sounding, with a cool guitar sound. Suits the lyrics well.

Both songs had the instrumental sections fit the lyrics well. All I can say is keep it up. That and I wish I could find a girl as talented as your girlfriend.

my girlfriend wrote the lyrics and acoustic parts and then basically comes to me to fill it out, so the electric parts are mine, but most of the credit goes to her. i like to post old stuff so that i can decide whether i have addressed the obvious faults by myself without someone telling me

stage fright was lorelle with a cranked ts9 and some ad9

lonely heart was kara with the monte modded bd2

both in my basement set up through the blues junior
