Need some custom wiring help for a STC-2p Preamp

Hey gents,

I just got a STC-2p preamp that I'm planning on dropping into my Warwick Artist Series Jack Bruce sig because I like the SD preamps a lot better than stock. Problem is, one of the really nice features of the MEC preamp is that the volume is a push/pull switch that bypasses the preamp (basically making the bass passive, since that's what the pickups are).

I know I can wire the STC-2p for this feature. I have no problem moving the slap contour from the push/pull to a on/on switch (that part looks self explanatory), but am having a hard time trying to find any info on wiring this preamp for active/passive operation. I even thought to look at the MEC preamp to copy that, but it's a circuit board, which is yielding no results.

Any information and assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

The SD Basslines STC-2P does not offer active/passive switching. It will be necessary to redirect the flying leads between the PCB and the DPDT portion of the volume pot to the slap contour switch. The push-pull pot selects the destination of the pickup signals: Jack socket or via the EQ PCB first.

Not out of the box, no. As I mentioned, I know it CAN be done, and Maricela confirmed it. SD just doesn't have schematics that they can offer to help me do this so I was hoping someone on here might've done it before and be able to assist.
