Need some help - PLEASE!!!

What is considered coil splitting??? Im looking at doing this setup right here

The pickups i have in my guitar right now are not set up like that at all...Its a 2 conductor with a white and a bare wire...PLEASE HELP!

if you convert the cable to 4-conductor you can; you need to be able to ground another wire off each coil

coil-splitting is killing one coil of the humbucker when you activate a switch or a push/pull pot so only one coil is turned on like a single coil.
if you don't want that, wire it with the standard wiring diagram.
