JB or the full shred!!! The full shred will be tighter and I think it crunches more, but the JB has a certain singing to it when you are playing fast leads. If you play alot of riffs on the bottom two or three strings, go for the full shred becasue its alot tighter there. If you play alot more solo's and stuff on the 3 high strings, go for the JB.

First off WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!
You'll find there is a plethora of information here and folks will help you as best as they can.
I would recommend the Custom. It delivers the goods and has nice grind with good mids and cutting highs, without sounding harsh. Lots of people like the JB I personally hated it in my Heritage 150 (LP style and build).
For more oomph still you could always go with the distortion. It has a large ceramic magnet providing even more grind, midrange and lots of harmonics.
Gearjoneser is the biggest proponent of the C5 and if you are getting plenty of mids from your amp it might be just your pup. It has tons of lows and highs with very scooped mids.

Any of the high output pickups will suit you fine. The JB is a very middy pickup, and will cut through like a hot knife in butter when you're playing leads. Especially with your Marshall. The scooped mids of the C5 shouldn't be too noticeable with a middy amp like a Marshall, so that would work as well. The Distortion is very high output and very strong. I'd recommend the JB though. It can do any type of rock/metal imaginable.
