Need to know! BEST passive humbucker for BALSL TO THE WALL THRASH!!

I need to know what's the best humbucking pickup for flat out thrash, and need to know by Sunday afternoon! And passive... for an alder or basswood..possibly mahagony too strat guitar. Active suggestions are good too because that will be for another guitar down the road...I need heavy palm muting, chunk, thunk, sustain, thor and thunder and all that. :32:

Two right off the bat i'm thinking of is the dimebag dimebucker and Bill Lawrence 500xl or whatever... I used to have a dimarzio superdistortion, but that was more of like an angus young tone then pantera. I also need leads to be able to cut through as well...I guess dimebags pantera tone (gee maby I should do more research on him eh?) thanks

PS - while I'm at it, any mods to help as well, pots, add-ones etc, but nothing too $$$

Costs mucho $$$ - but the Seymour Duncan LiveWire Metal humbucker. But, for less $$$ I'll suggest the Seymour Duncan Distortion or DiMarzio X2N - which'll, for a passive humbucker, stun your amp!

i like my duncan distotion.

Distortion, look no further.

OK so far the suggestions are:

SD Duncan distortion
SD fullShred
Dimarzio X2n

Actives:
SD LiveWires (problem is this is a set)

And change of plans, this pickup will be going in a G400 SG, mahagony body, so any other suggestions and what would be the best for for that guitar/wood....and any comments on which one is also well suited for fast leads? No suggestions for the dimebucker at all??

distortion works well for fast rythm and leads.

The Dimebucker and L500XL are really harsh sounding, TONS of high end sizzle. They both suck IMO.

If suggest the JB for a mahogany guitar.

EDIT: If you want Dimebag's tone, get the L500XL. I think his tone sucks, but that pickup nails his tone.

Well, I would go DD if you want a fuller midrange, Full Shred if you more clarity with a little less output for better definition.

Well there's no way I would get his tone playing an SG and tube amps, so perhaps that was a bad comparison... Dimebags tone without some of the harshness and solidstate raunch. I want to put a '59 in the neck of the SG, BUT I also have a Dimarzio tonezone, do you think it would be a bad choice in the neck, too bassy?

I like a nice low end chunk, the DD has a lot more midrange I see, but it's going in a mahagony SG which is already mid/bass heavy, so perhaps the fullshred will be more balanced? Also considering the Dimarzio X2N getting confused and tired of looking at specs and listening to clips, I want to just pick one! lol..
