Need Tone Advice!

Well the sounds I can get from my rig range from light jazz, hard ska, punk rock and 80's metal...I mean it all sounds CLOSE to that. What I want to add to my arsenal is a thick, bassy distortion sound of death...think Jucifer. Do I want a new pedal, an Invader for my Warmoth, or what? Some advice would be awesome

I have the Invader pickup in two of my guitars and I like it. If you go with a new pedal try the Danelectro Fab Tone or Blue Paisley pedal. The Fab Tone with the bass cranked up all the way will give you the bass you need from a distortion pedal. But those are some ideas for you

Danelectro pedals? Those $20 toys in the back of Media Play? I dunno man, if I was gettin a new pedal I'd probably spring for somethin.....awesome. Anybody have anything to say about Death By Audio pedals?

c'mon guys, how can I make my vintage-y rig sound just a tad more modern?
