I had a friend of mine bring me a TB-15, an SH-2 and an Alnico II Pro to replace my RG2570's Dimarzio/ibz's and replacing them has become a pain in the ass...
I had to sand of a bit of the body to fit in the trembucker cause it was too big
I had to put holes in the body because the duncan's polepieces were too long and after doing so now they go too low into the body so I would probably have to use a mounting ring which I'd have to pierce holes for those too
and now after all that hassle I wired it up exactly as my dimarzio's since the colors looked exactly the same but they don't sound right ;
They all make a lot of hissing in the background
the jazz model has a very low gain I don't know if it's because of the wiring or the fact that it's too low
and they do kinda sound like scratching a piece of metal on another piece of metal
I also tried to swap the red and black wire (Since I realized only the red and black differ between the dimarzo and the seymours ) but they still sound the same. Is this how they really should sound or not and is it because of the wiring or them being too low
by the way I still don't have a single coil cover so I just had to put on the dimarzio one and it covers a bit of the poles
here's some pictures;

3-The wiring right now

by the way what's the worst thing that could happen if I keep wiring them the wrong way ?
