New Acoustic, well sort of !

A few days ago , I was scrolling along Craig's List and came across this, a Korean made, 1999 Fender DG-20S Acoustic with a Spruce Top and Mahoghany sides and bottom along with a Nato neck w/ 20 frets. The seller was asking $200.00 for it, so I contacted him and asked if he would be willing to do a swap for My Squier SA-100 with which I've since installed , Wilkinson Tuners & Graph-Tech Tusq Bridge Pins . I was also willing to throw some cash his way as well to seal the deal. To my surprise, he agreed to a straight trade with no cash involved, although I did throw in 5 sets of Martin SP Strings as well. I absolutely love this baby and it is IMO, the best sounding Acoustic I have ever played. I see that it didn't come with a pickguard and looked online to see that other models did have one, so I ordered one from E-Bay which should be in next week. The sound and tone from this is exquisite and would I feel, blow away of Fender's Chinese made Acoustic stuff easily. I can't however, see to find any information as to how long these were made for and what the retail price of them were. If anybody has any info, I'd really appreciate it, thanks.
