Re: New Amp And Questions
find some NOS mullards or comparable old tubesif you can, prefereably someone who caters to the high end audio market........i had mullards in my stereo preamp, but one of them went buzzy on me...sucked....i have GT's in it right now and there is a difference....subtle, but there. Mine was the same vintage as yours.....it was a floor model that i picked up from Thouroughbred in Tampa back in 96. $600 with warranty. I bought it upon recommendation from one of the techs at SD......he kinda said that if i could afford it, i must buy it.....and if i couldn't, then rob a liquor store..lol Monster amp
