The first model in this series is the Prima 30 head and extension cab. The Prima 30 amp is a 30-watt, all-tube, hand-wired head and matching extension cabinet. The Prima 30 features finger jointed solid pine cabs built by Headstrong in their Asheville, NC shop. The Prima 30 is covered in stunning 1-piece black and burgundy tolex and features small weave cane grill cloth. Other color combinations are available. The Prima 30 control panel has 2-inputs, High and Low, single channel with volume, treble, bass, speed and intensity. Housed in an all aluminum chassis, the Prima 30 has a tube compliment consisting of 3-EH 12AX7 preamp tubes, 2-TAD 6L6WGC power tubes and a JJ 5AR4 rectifier tube. The Prima also has the ability to run EL34, KT66 and 6V6 (for half power). The Prima 30 also features a bias vary tremolo system for deep natural sounding tremolo. Other features include, external bias test points, external bias adjustment pot, multiple impedence switch (2,4,8,16 ohm), multiple voltage selector (120/220-230/240-250), IEC power cord receptacle, footswitch jack and 2 speaker inputs.

The Prima's finger-jointed pine matching extension cabinet is loaded with 2- 12" BV 30V 60 watt ceramic speakers. The cab is available in open, closed (1 or 3 piece), ported or de-tuned configuration. 1X12/2x10/1x15 speaker configurations also available as well as Eminence, Celestion and Weber speaker options.

Marc Ford of the Black Crowes is currently using one...

Looks cool. I really like amps that have that vintage stereo look.
Interesting that the company is a man and woman team. He builds the amps. She works on the cabinetry.

I just looked at their dealer list and realized that my friend Todd, who owns www.revolutionguitar.com is now a dealer. If he's got one in stock, I'll have to check it out next time I go down to Culver City/LA.

I wouldn't have cared about the amp until you mentioned Marc Ford from the Black Crowes used one, I gotta hear this thing :)

When I saw him a few weeks ago, is tone was AMAZING. He uses a Roccaforte Custom 80 and a Schreyer Audio JTM45 clone along with the Headstrong. He sometimes throws in a silverface Fender or tweed Fender with that too...

These amps look cool. Can't wait to try and find one.
