New Amp Head Shells and Recovering Amp Cabs

OK, this is kind of a two part question : 1) I have an amp head with the old black fur / carpet on it that is all trashed, and I'm thinking of putting it in a different housing / shell, and 2) make some progress on the cabs that came with it, which look like they've been partying with the Hell's Angel's for a few decades, maybe via a recovering. Where would I go for references on either of these concepts, or how can I do some of the labor intensive stripping of the current covering to prep for a pro to take over on the cab(s) ? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks !!!

Paul Ruby amplifiers. Google it. There are a ton of links to resources, and places where you can order Tolex, or any kind of covering, at pretty cheap prices.

Here is the link to the Gear Page thread, I could not see it listed above.

If you follow along step by step, the process is simple. Keep in mind the corners are done the same way on head boxes and cabs, etc. Really, Really easy if you use those plastic amp corners ( but doesn't look as good, IMO), and if your cab has the piping that divides everything into sections ( less tolex needed too).

Good luck.
