New AMTs for me

Picked these two up for a song at GC (usually their stuff is way overpriced but got lucky and went in at the right time I guess).

I need to properly try them out this weekend (dug both in the store. The M1 was amazingly clear).

I’m hoping this hump [oops, I mean jump] starts me back into guitar. I play now and then but seems to have taken a backseat to other stuff for awhile. That’s life huh

Was really liking the R1 through a combo amp with a TS type circuit in front of it this weekend. Any time a new pedal or amp spawn new riffs I know it’s a keeper:

I ran my R2 into the power-amp in on my Katana head the other day, driving my mushfake Randall cab with the Eminence speakers. Quite good, reminiscent of an actual Rectifier amp.

We may not be seeing much for new products from them in the short term.

Cobbling things together in an ad hoc fashion, like how I turned my Randall combo into a cabinet in a most lazy manner by cutting that jack plate into the back and leaving the amp in the chassis.

I did the same thing with an H&K SS combo that came with a Celestion speaker. Use it only as a cab now with a Bogner tube head.

Those AMT pedals look interesting. I only have one, (the Wah), but it's built tough and sounds great. I'd like to try a D2.
